Solution Details
[Provide complete technical details for configuration or programming here]
Substitution record was maintained for material 11089450 size 712 with material 11089455 size OSFA.
At order entry 955 was available for 712 size and the order quantity was 1000. So the unavailable 45 was substituted by alternative material/size.
However, the standard set up triggered item cats TAX for the main item and TAPS for the subsequent items as determined by substitution. The set up for TAX and TAPS is quite different from TAN.
Item 10 is the main item/ordered item with item category TAX. This represents the original order quantity entered. The subsequent items 20 and 30 with TAPS item category are the substituted ones (with main item size if inventory is available and with substituted item/sizes when not available).
